Choose known kWh or appliance watts. Enter your rate, period fixed charges and tax percentage. The tax is applied to energy plus fixed charges.
Example
A 1000 W appliance used 2 hours/day for 30 days uses 60 kWh. At 0.20 per kWh, energy costs 12.00 before fees and tax.
Limitations
Use the rate on your bill in currency units per kWh, not cents. Flat-rate estimate only: tiered tariffs, peak/off-peak pricing and supplier-specific tax rules are not included. Appliance power must represent average draw.
