Add each drink’s volume in ml, ABV percentage and number of servings. Read the total dose and the population-average processing estimate.
Example
Two 330 ml beers at 5% contain 3.3 UK units. At the illustrative average of one UK unit per hour, the total dose corresponds to about 3.3 processing hours.
Limitations
UK units = volume in ml × ABV / 1000 × servings. One UK unit contains 10 ml (about 8 g) of alcohol. The NHS average of roughly one unit per hour varies between people. The result is not time remaining after your last drink, a zero-BAC prediction, test detection window or permission to drive.
