Set the minimum and maximum values
A range such as 1 to 100 usually includes both endpoints: 1 and 100 are valid results. Set the lower value no higher than the upper value, then choose how many integers you need. A uniform random integer generator gives each allowed integer the same chance on each draw.
If repeats are allowed, the same number can appear more than once. If you need unique picks, the range must contain at least as many possible values as requested results. For example, you cannot select 12 unique numbers from a range that contains only 10 integers.
Generate a list without duplicates
- Enter the minimum and maximum whole numbers.
- Set the number of results to generate.
- Enable the no-duplicates option when each result must be unique.
- Generate again if you want a new draw; save the result you intend to use.
A random result is not a recommendation. For a classroom activity or informal draw, a browser tool may be convenient. Do not use a general-purpose web randomizer for cryptographic keys, passwords, gambling regulated by law, or security-sensitive decisions.
Frequently asked questions
Are the endpoints included? The Toolnoza generator uses an inclusive minimum and maximum. Why can a number repeat? Repeats are possible unless no-duplicates is enabled. Is a random list guaranteed to be fair? The tool is intended for everyday selection; high-stakes or regulated draws need an independently auditable process.
